Well, we have not had a successful spring with full nest boxes this year. As a matter of fact we have nothing to show for our breeding last month, at all. Apple did not produce anything, we can't really blame her because she is well past her prime and not bred for several years. Rosebud on the other hand was the proud dam of 9 big and beautiful kits... that she promptly stomped to death. We are devastated to say the least.
We will take some time to console ourselves and let her recuperate before we try it again with Cowboy and Rosebud.
